Admission Requirements
Dive Rite does not charge a fee for our events. Please contact the quarry or dive site for admission costs by using the web link above.
Certification & Liability Requirements
Divers will need to show their certification card and complete a liability release form. While using Dive Rite gear is free (aside from $25.00 CCR trials) A rental form is required and we ask that a credit card be held as a deposit for all divers who will be trying gear. A parent or guardian who can sign the release forms must accompany divers under the age of 18. Gilboa Quarry diver releases available at the office when checking in. Everyone is required to check in at the office each day before entering the facility.
Diving
Prior to your dive, each diver will be fitted with your equipment by one of our dive Technicians. Once you are geared up and ready to dive, you will check in with the Technicians in charge who will assign you a guide if needed.
Food
Food is available on-site. There are burgers, hot dogs, chips, grilled chicken breast, bratwurst, snacks, beverages and more. There are also local restaurants near by.
Join the Tech Tour Team
All divers who complete a gear demo will receive a Dive Rite Underwater Notebook.
Things to Bring
• Dive gear including mask, fins, regulators, computer and gauges, tanks*, weights*, BCD and either a drysuit or wetsuit and hood. *Note: you will need to supply your own weights and tanks or you may rent them from Gilboa Quarry or a participating provider onsite.
• Dive certification card and credit card for deposit
• Wear clothing appropriate for the weather and bring your own favorite snacks, drinks, etc.
Directions
Gilboa Quarry is located about 15 miles west of Findlay on Old St. Rte. 224. Pick up St. Rt. 224 on I-75 in Findlay, Ohio.
